Study visit to SAURY Cooperage

We had the privilege of visiting the Saury Cooperage in Brive. We have learned the entire manufacturing process of the barrels, since the choice and selection of wood, drying, the type of toast, as well as, all the operations inherent until the final finishing. In fact, despite dealing with a traditional process and partly handmade, it is very clear the rigorous quality control, which allows for consistency and reproducibility of the barrels, which is a Saury guarantee.
